Wine Review: This clear platinum colored Sauvignon Blanc from Ziata is Excellent! It opens with a mild grapefruit and light lime bouquet with hints of apple and jasmine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, graceful, and seamless. The flavor profile is passionfruit and poached pear blend with notes of gooseberry and lime. We also detected hints of honeydew melon, stony minerality, saline, vanilla, and a dash of white pepper. It’s pretty complex! The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We could certainly enjoy this impressive Sauvignon Blanc on its own. With food, we would pair it with a Zuni Café roast chicken. Enjoy - KWGTP
