Wine Review: This almost clear colored Riesling opens with honey and lemon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with mild acidity. The mouthfeel is soft, mouth coating and nicely balanced. The flavor profile is a very tasty, iced tea and McIntosh apple blend with notes of lychee and honeydew melon. The finish is moderately sweet and drifts away nicely. The Tasting Panel drink this "Auslese" level Riesling on its own. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The bouquet is reminiscent of grapefruit, pineapple, orange blossom, and slate. The taste of this Auslese, which finishes with a fine raisin aroma, is very dense, creamy, and tropical. The complexity is balanced by a lively, weightless finish. The wine's ripe acidity presents itself as invigorating and fresh in order to achieve a radiant brilliance. This Auslese is already enjoyable at a young age but shows its full potential with more maturity (10+ years). The perfect companion to aged cheeses such as blue cheese. It is ideal as a dessert wine accompanied with robust, dark chocolate mousse.
