Wine Review: This very dark violet colored Tempranillo from Zuccardi is very good. It opens with a blueberry bouquet with a hint of blackberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and a little juicy. The flavor profile is a cedar infused plum with notes of red cherry and a hint of cinnamon. The finish is dry and its fine tannins and flavors drifted away nicely. This easy to drink Tempranillo would pair perfectly with a thick Angus bacon burger off the grill. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense red ruby color. Ripe fruits like figs, cherries, plums, integrated with spicy aromas and dried fruits. Soft entry with firm tannins and balanced acidity. Greasy and persistent finish.
