Wine Review: This bright ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Argentina is very good. It opens with a mild black currant and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and has a nice round mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused red plum with notes of old oak and hints of pomegranate in the background. The finish is dry and flavors are nicely prolonged. This Cab is very food friendly. I would pair it with baked meat lasagna. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Intense purple color. Aroma: Great intensity with ripe red and black fruits notes such as blueberry and cassis along with some black pepper notes. Flavor: Full-bodied with firm, mature and integrated tannins. Very long and persistent finish.
