Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Malbec from Zuccardi very good. It opens with a gentle plum, mild dried herb and pipe tobacco bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, nicely balanced and round with no edges at all. The flavor profile is gentle black tea and mild graphite influenced black plum with hints of olive and oak. The finish is rather dry and its dusty tannins stick around for a very long time. The smoothness of this wine makes it very versatile. That said, the tannins call for something with a bit of fat. I would pair this good value and tasty Malbec with braised short ribs. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep purple color, with bluish hues.
Aroma: Intense red fruits and flowers aromas, such as roses and violets. Herbal notes.
Flavor: Soft and silky entry, great structure, acidity that provides freshness and mineral texture. Long finish.
