Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Malbec from Zuccardi opens with a wild blueberry and moist pipe tobacco bouquet with hints of violets and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, super smooth, expressive, and displays nice tension. The flavor profile is a black plum and refined stony minerality blend with notes of tobacco and blackberry. We also detected hints of black tea, mocha, blueberry, and pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and polished tannins are very nicely sustained. We would pair this Malbec with porterhouse steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
