Wine Review: This cloudy and deep purple colored Malbec from Zuccardi opens with a shy black raspberry and graphite bouquet with hints of black plum, tobacco, and violets. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, concentrated, and seamless. The flavor profile is a ripe blackberry and graphite blend with notes of stewed black plum and oolong tea. We also detected hints of tobacco, celery, and cocoa. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its moderate dusty tannins build-up and are nicely extended. We would pair this Malbec with a well-marbled ribeye, burnt ends, or with a blue cheeseburger. Enjoy - KWGTP
