Wine Review: This cloudy and deep purple colored Malbec from Zuccardi opens with a wet stone and black raspberry bouquet with hints of chalk dust, teaberry, and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, smooth, seamless, fresh and a little zesty. The flavor profile is a black plum and stone dust blend with notes of black pepper and boysenberry. We also detected hints of black cherry, cocoa, smoked meat, and black licorice. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its moderate refined dusty tannins linger and last for a long while. We would pair this Malbec with New York strip steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
