Wine Review: This opaque and deep purple colored Malbec from Zuccardi opens with a blueberry and lilac bouquet with hints of blackberry, cedar, and violet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and savory. The flavor profile is a blackberry and blueberry blend with notes of gravel and dark chocolate. We also detected hints of black plum, black pepper, and black tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate sticky tannins are very long. We would decant this Malbec before pairing it with a well-marbled ribeye. Enjoy - KWGTP
