Wine Review: This clear and light gold colored Chardonnay from Zuccardi opens with an inviting light green apple and lemon tea bouquet with hints of white peach and honeydew melon. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, seamless, and fresh. The flavor profile is a green apple and lemon tea blend with notes of lime zest, honeycomb, and pineapple. We also detected hints of chalky minerality, almond, and white pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this Chard with a chilled crab cocktail or with a seafood casserole. Enjoy - KWGTP
