Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Malbec from Zuccardi opens with a blackberry pie and black-cherry cola bouquet with hints of lilac, leather, and baking spice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plum acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, very smooth, fresh, and seamless with nice structure. The flavor profile is a very tasty blackberry and light tobacco blend with notes of graphite and stewed black plum. We also detected hints of oolong tea, black pepper with a touch of black licorice. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and well-managed refined tannins. We would pair this Malbec with a porterhouse steak or with a grilled veal chop. Enjoy - KWGTP
