Wine Review: This Chenin Blanc based sparkling wine is a pale-yellow color with lots of small bubbles. The reserved bouquet includes yellow apple, wet river stone, red raspberry, Bosc pear and a touch of brioche. There is a generous froth and nice balance upon entry with a medium body and medium-plus acidity. The wine has a slightly creamy mouthfeel and is dry, crisp, and clean. The flavor profile features poached pear, crushed limestone, and lemon with hints of Galia melon, raspberry, and flint. The finish is refreshing and long, with a light bitter note at the end. Serve well-chilled as an aperitif or with shrimp tempura. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Chenin Blanc has been at the heart of Dry Creek Vineyard since our founding in 1972, and this sparkling expression continues that legacy in brilliant fashion. Crafted in the Méthode Champenoise tradition and fermented in 100% stainless steel, this wine captures both freshness and elegance. Aromas of tart white peach, honeydew melon and Fuji apple spring forward, joined by delicate floral notes of jasmine and geranium. Layers of lemon curd, brioche and wet stone add nuance and complexity. On the palate, lively flavors of Asian pear, kiwi and green apple mingle with hints of raspberry and pomegranate, creating a vibrant interplay of fruit and minerality. Crisp and refreshing, with a balanced finish, this sparkling wine is delightful for immediate enjoyment.
