Wine Review: This clear and white gold colored Riesling from Paul Anheuser is a very good value. It opens with an Anjou pear and ginger ale bouquet with hints of apple skin. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is a mild quince and ginger ale blend with notes of gentle golden delicious apple. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this off-dry Riesling with golden pan-seared scallops. Enjoy - Ken
