Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Sojourn opens with a black tea and black raspberry bouquet with hints of oak and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, a little zest, and savory. The flavor profile is a red licorice and black raspberry blend with notes of stone dust and cranberry. I also detected hints of spiced red plum, herbal tea, and tobacco. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and mild tannins linger nicely. I would pair this Sonoma Coast Pinot with grilled salmon. Enjoy - Ken
