Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Mauritson opens with a blueberry and black cherry bouquet with hints of Dentyne gum, lavender, and black licorice. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is impressively balanced. It is also velvety, smooth, seamless, and luscious. The flavor profile is a black cherry and blueberry blend with notes of cinnamon and cedar. We also detected hints of tiramisu and a touch of anise. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and refined medium tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this excellent Cab with Roy’s rib roast. Enjoy - KWGTP
