Wine Review: This hazy and deep ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Whitehall Lane opens with a dark chocolate and dark cherry bouquet with hints of sweet tobacco, dried coconut, oak, and black licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, lush, and fresh. The flavor profile is a red plum and stony minerality blend with notes of Oreo cookie and blueberry. We also detected hints of (black tea, tobacco, toasted oak, and dark chocolate cake. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate fine grain tannins linger nicely. We would pair this Cab with Stuart’s beef wellington. Enjoy - KWGTP
