Wine Review: This medium purple colored Shiraz from Mollydooker opens with a black cherry and black currant bouquet with hints of cola and chocolate covered strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mulberry and extracted blackberry blend with notes of black licorice and stony minerality. We also detected hints of mild tobacco and dark chocolate. The finish is dry with mild and slightly sticky tannins. We would pair this Shiraz with burnt ends or grilled steak frites. Enjoy - KWGTP

The grapes were grown on vineyards in McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek. The Boxer has been Barrel fermented and matured in 100% American oak, using 40% new and 60% one year old.
