Wine Review: This hazy and dark red colored Pinot Noir from Hartford Court opens with an inviting blueberry, clove, and oak bouquet with hints of balsam and violets. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, mouthwatering, and zesty. The flavor profile is a stony minerality and spiced plum blend with notes of oak and licorice. I also detected hints of black cherry and clove. I would pair the hearty styled Pinot with a duck confit crostini. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of dark fruit and allspice are followed by flavors of wild berries and minerality. The dense entry on red wine is followed by a juicy body, balanced acidity, silky tannins and earthy finish.
