Wine Review: This clear and light straw-colored Chardonnay from Kosta Browne opens with a lemon zest and baked pear bouquet with hints of oak, lychee, and light pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, bright, mouthwatering, and very fresh. The flavor profile is a light oak influenced poached Anjou pear and Granny Smith apple blend with notes of minerality and lemon squares. We also detected hints of grapefruit pith and pineapple. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. We would pair this Chardonnay with pan-seared scallops in lemon butter or with a halibut ceviche. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Aroma: A bright and layered bouquet of citrus, crisp apple, and pear, interwoven with subtle oak and delicate floral nuances.
Palate: Vibrant lemon and toasted butterscotch flavors unfold with refreshing acidity and refined minerality. Notes of lime zest and orange blossom emerge, extending a long, elegant finish.
