Wine Review: This slightly hazy and dark ruby colored Syrah led red blend from Limerick Lane opens with a raspberry, and red plum bouquet with hints of salami, cherry cordials, and wet clay. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and very fresh. The flavor profile is a spiced red plum and craisin blend with notes of stone dust and oolong tea. We also detected hints of oak, lingonberry, and mocha. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and its moderate tannins are nicely extended. We would pair this very good red blend with roasted lamb kabobs or with Fra diavolo. Enjoy - KWGTP
