Wine Review: This slightly hazy and dark red colored Chianti Classico from Tenuta di Nozzole opens with a teaberry gum and maraschino cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, zesty, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a blueberry and black cherry blend with notes of teaberry and stone dust. I also detected hints of rosemary and green tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate dusty tannins linger and last for quite some time. I would pair this very food friendly Sangiovese with slow cooked beef brisket. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Ripe, crushed red cherry aromas and flavors with an earthy note. Tangy acidity and fine tannins balance the juicy fruit character. Pair with grilled meat, pizza, or pasta.
