Wine Review: This slightly hazy and dark red colored Zinfandel from Post & Vine opens with a cinnamon and loganberry bouquet with hints of spearmint and brown bread. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and seamless with forward flavors. Those flavors are red licorice and a tangy red plum blend with notes of fruitcake and cedar. We also detected hints of cinnamon, black tea, and menthol. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and mild tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this food friendly Zin with a pulled pork sandwich or with a sausage lasagna. Enjoy - KWGTP
