Wine Review: This clear and straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Sequoia Grove opens with an orange zest and peach bouquet with hints of mild cantaloupe, lemon curd, and faint green bell pepper. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, supple, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a yellow grapefruit and oak blend with notes of light vanilla and ripe honeydew melon. We also detected hints of dried coconut flakes, nectarine, ginger, and lemon. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a while. We would pair this refreshing Sauvignon Blanc with broiled scallops drizzled with lemon butter. Enjoy - KWGTP
