Wine Review: This slightly hazy and light ruby red colored Pinot Noir from Innumero opens with a mild cigar box bouquet with hints of elderberry and pine resin. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, very smooth, and graceful. The flavor profile is a raspberry tea and tobacco blend with notes of graphite and gentle black licorice. We also detected hints of black pepper, clove, and bay leaf. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and well-managed moderate tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with filet mignon or turkey pot pie. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This 100% Pommard clone Pinot Noir from Bootlegger's Hill Vineyard is a bold and captivating expression of the vineyard's power and finesse. Aromas of brambly black cherry, black plum, and hints of blue fruit are intense and alluring. The palate follows through with fresh-picked dark berries, offering impressive weight and depth while remaining light on its feet. Silky tannins are present but refined, and the finish is long, lingering, and deliciously satisfying.
