Wine Review: This clear and straw-colored Chardonnay from Sojourn opens with an inviting pineapple and Bartlett pear bouquet with hints of green apple and almond. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced and round. The flavor profile is a pineapple and Anjou pear blend with notes of chamomile tea and lemon verbena. I also detected hints of mascarpone cheese and quince. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this Chardonnay with my New England lobster and corn chowder at Lucia's. Enjoy – Ken
