Wine Review: This clear and pale gold colored Chardonnay from Domaine De La Riviere opens with a flint, coconut, and pineapple bouquet with hints of apple butter and sea breeze. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and slightly creamy. The flavor profile is a concentrated blend of pineapple and oak with notes of vanilla, flint, and pear. We also detected hints of green tea and banana. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this Chard with a Dover sole with brown butter aka Sole Meunière. Enjoy - KWGTP
