Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Malbec based red blend from Gondak Cellars opens with a ripe black raspberry and loganberry bouquet with hints of wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is a black raspberry and tobacco blend with notes of spiced black plum and stone dust. I also detected hints of oak and cherry Kool-Aid. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and mild dusty tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this red blend with a grilled skirt steak with garlic and herbs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Juicy yet refined. It's a wine with nothing missing and everything in its right place.
