Wine Review: This clear and white gold colored Chardonnay from Kobler opens with an oak and Bartlett pear bouquet with hints of butterscotch, pineapple, and honeysuckle. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and rich. The flavor profile is an oak influenced poached pear and grilled pineapple blend with notes of chalky minerality and cashew. We also detected hints of butterscotch, white pepper, and ginger. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this Chard with a lobster bisque or a cold lobster roll. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: With a golden hue, the 2023 Russian River Valley Chardonnay opens with vibrant tones of green apple, citrus peel, and pear with notes of pie crust and baking spice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with summer like floral aromas, has bright acidity with a smooth and velvety finish.
