Wine Review: This dark garnet colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega is excellent! It opens with a mild red licorice, cherry, and mahogany bouquet with hints of blackberry and cigar box. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, super smooth, polished, and rich. The flavor profile is a pronounced blueberry and black cherry blend with notes of mocha and graphite. We also detected hints of nutmeg, cedar, cola, and a dash of cinnamon. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and well-managed dusty tannins are nicely extended. We would pair this Cab with a porterhouse steak at your favorite steak house or with Roy’s rib roast. Enjoy - KWGTP
