Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Zinfandel from Limerick Lane opens with a shy wet stone and cherry bouquet with hints of red raspberry and leather. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is a gentle plum and stone dust blend with notes of red licorice and cedar. We also detected hints of black tea, blackberry, and touch of oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and well-managed moderate tannins are very nicely extended. We would pair this very food friendly Zin with a grilled hanger steak. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Marquis Zinfandel is a remarkable blend of grapes from legendary sites like Banfield, Maffei, Monte Rosso, Bedrock, and Limerick Lane—a harmonious "supergroup" of vineyards brought together in one bottle. The Vineyards: 63% Limerick Lane, 17% Maffei, 13% Monte Rosso & 7% Banfield.
