Wine Review: This enjoyable Merlot based Italian red blend is a clear, deep red color which presents aromas of red cherry, dried strawberry, coffee grounds, candle wax, and baking spice. It's a very easy drinking wine, that is super smooth, fruit focused, balanced, and fresh. On the palate, it is medium bodied and moderately acidic. There are flavors of tart red cherry, dried raspberry, and cinnamon with notes of vanilla, tomato leaf, and oak spice. The moderate tannins build-up nicely in the long fruity finish. It shows even better with a brief decant. Serve it with a lamb burger or beef ravioli. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: A dense and deeply colored wine, full of concentrated black and red cherry flavor, and hints of leather and spice. The palate has a layered texture, with muscular tannins providing a long finish.
