Wine Review: This clear and very pale copper colored Brut Rosé from V. Sattui displays many random streams of bubbles. It opens with a mild strawberry and wet stone bouquet with hints of green apple, faint red cherry, and watermelon rind. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, clean, creamy, and fresh. The flavor profile is a red cherry and orange peel blend with notes of wild strawberry and stone dust. We also detected hints of red raspberry and toasted almond. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are extended. We would pair this Brut Rose with fried clams and with fried shrimp.
