Wine Review: This pitch-black colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Duckhorn is excellent! It opens with a mild blackberry and black cherry bouquet with hints of tobacco, oak, wet stone, and caraway seed. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, silky smooth, seamless, and rich. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry and gentle graphite blend with notes of tobacco and blueberry. We also detected hints of cedar, green olive, cinnamon, and oolong tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate dusty tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Cab with a porterhouse steak or with Chateaubriand. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This lush and evocative Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon commands your attention with aromas of blackberry, mulberry, fig jam and dark chocolate-covered blueberries. On the palate it is bold and beautifully rich, with fine, powdery tannins and flavors of black raspberry, cherry, graphite, and black tea.
