Wine Review: This clear and pale-yellow colored Viognier from Kobler opens with a green tea and gentle lime bouquet with hints of gardenia and stone fruit. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, seamless, and delicate. The flavor profile is a green tea and mild lime blend with notes of stone dust, pear, and saline. We also detected hints of almond, ginger, and honeydew melon. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity fade away nicely. We would pair this versatile and very food friendly Viognier with broiled scallops with a lime butter drizzle or with veggie potstickers. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2024 Russian River Valley Viognier entices with vibrant aromas of cantaloupe, tangerine, and fresh orange blossom add lift and freshness, creating a beautifully layered bouquet. On the palate it is medium-bodied with a luminous straw hue, this Viognier delivers a classical Rhône balance of stunning aromatics, bright fruit and graceful structure. Flavors of fresh Bartlett pear, white peach, and nectarine, intertwine with hints of apricot, while a refreshing backbone of acidity enhances its lively, textured finish.
