Wine Review: This clear and medium gold colored Chardonnay from Pascal Renaud opens with a mild pear and light mango bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and seamless. The flavor profile is an Anjou pear and saline blend with notes of chalky minerality and lemon tea. I also detected hints of green apple and almond. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger for a bit. I would pair this refreshing, good value Chard with a Ritz Cracker crusted baked haddock. Enjoy – Ken & Dave
