Wine Review: This clear and slightly dark red colored Pinot Noir from Lussier opens with a lingonberry and loam bouquet with hints of wild strawberry and rose petals. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and frictionless. The flavor profile is a spiced tart black plum and black pepper blend with notes of mild black cherry and loam. I also detected hints of oolong tea, tobacco, and pomegranate. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate tannins build-up are sustained for quite some time. I would pair this Pinot Noir with a slow cooked beef brisket. Enjoy - Ken
