Wine Review: This hazy and deep ruby colored Cabernet Franc from Valley Road Vineyards opens with a cedar and red raspberry bouquet with hints of new leather and sandalwood. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a complex blend of cedar influenced black raspberry and black jellybean blend with notes of mocha and black plum. We also detected hints of tobacco, black tea, and a touch of graphite. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and medium dusty tannins stick around for quite some time. We would pair this Cab Franc with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Our 2023 vintage offers violet notes on the nose, followed by a lively palate of white pepper and fresh berries, and a long, pleasing finish. Aged 10 months in 20% new French oak. 100% Valley Road Vineyards estate fruit.
