Wine Review: This slightly hazy and golden yellow colored Chardonnay from Sequoia Grove opens with a pleasant poached bartlett pear and light oak bouquet with hints of butterscotch, grilled pineapple, and honeycomb. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, very fresh, and rich. The flavor profile is a pear and butterscotch blend with notes of oak and pineapple. We also detected hints of coconut custard. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and lasts for quite some time. We would pair this Chardonnay with lobster bisque. Enjoy - KWGTP
