Wine Review: This is a pale platinum colored Sauvignon Blanc from the Horse Haven Hills region of Washington state. It opens with pineapple, ruby grapefruit, light gardenia, and linen aromas. I found it to have a silky and supple mouthfeel with a light body and integrated plus acidity. I give the impression of being crisp and lively, yet it’s a balanced wine that is also easy drinking. There are flavors of ruby grapefruit, saline, and ash with notes of fresh herbs and Galia melon. The finish is refreshing and long. Serve lightly chilled with a variety of sushi rolls. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Juicy pineapple, lemongrass, grapefruit, and passionfruit blend seamlessly with layers of minerality, salinity and lime zest. Vibrant acidity lends tension and intensity, beautiful texture and mouthfeel from concrete fermentation, lovely palate weight from neutral barrel fermentation and aging.
