Wine Review: This clear and light red colored Pinot Noir from Calera opens with a red plum and red cherry bouquet with hints of green tea and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and mouthwatering with nice tension. The flavor profile displays nice layering. It features red licorice and red plum blend with notes of red cherry and clove. We also detected hints of graphite, oolong tea, oak, and cinnamon. The finish is dry, and its flavors, refreshing acidity, and its managed moderate tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with lamb lollipops with mushroom risotto or with a duck cassoulet. Enjoy – KWGTP
