Wine Review: This bright, well-crafted Sauvignon Blanc from Virginia is a medium yellow color with aromas of yellow grapefruit, lemongrass, beeswax, vanilla and jasmine. There is a slightly creamy and satiny mouthfeel. On the palate, there's a medium body with medium-plus acidity. It is mouthwatering, pure, and steely. I found flavors of yellow grapefruit, lemon curd, stony minerality, hay, and pineapple with hints of lychee, vanilla, and white pepper. The finish is tangy and moderate in length. Serve this food friendly Sauvignon Blanc lightly chilled with pan-seared scallops. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Inspired by the white wines of the Loire Valley, this Virginia Sauvignon Blanc has nuanced complexity, bright acidity, and pronounced citrus characteristics. It is a versatile food pairing wine that will continue to age well in the bottle for several years.
