Wine Review: This clear and pale straw-colored Gewürztraminer from Ravines opens with an inviting lychee and passionfruit bouquet with hints of lime and rose petal. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round and zesty. The flavor profile is a lychee and lime blend with notes of chalky minerality and passionfruit. I also detected hints of white pepper, saline, and apricot pit. Its flavors and acidity linger nicely on the finish. I would pair this Gewürz with a crock pot apricot pork roast. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2023 Estate Gewurztraminer comes from the limestone soils of our Limestone Springs Vineyard. Dynamic aromatics of Asian pear, mango and sweet spices jump from the glass. Quintessential balance is paramount to this wine's fresh and vibrant mouthfeel. The acidity is fully integrated for such a young wine, providing verve and staying power on the dry finish.
