Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega opens with a blackberry and black coffee bouquet with hints of dark chocolate, oak, fig, and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, silky, refined, and nicely structured. The flavor profile is a delicious black currant and black cherry blend with notes of cedar and stone dust. We also detected hints of mocha, cola, cinnamon, and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and polished tannins build-up and stick around for quite some time. We would pair this impressive Cab with Roy's rib roast. Enjoy - KWGTP
