Wine Review: This translucent and dark red colored Pinot Noir from Cakebread opens with a shy black cherry and strawberry bouquet with hints of sandalwood. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, velvety, and polished. The flavor profile is a gentle black plum and dark chocolate blend with notes of oak and green tea. We also detected hints of dried strawberry and black licorice. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its refined tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with pork tenderloin. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of sweet black cherry, raspberry, rose petal and violet carry over onto a fresh palate of raspberry and flavors. Round, silky tannins support the bright fruit, and a touch of minerality complements the delicious red fruit expression over a smooth finish. Delicious with seared tuna or swordfish, pork or lighter red meats.
