Wine Review: An appealing, off-dry Riesling from the Mosel region of Germany. This medium straw-colored wine shows vibrant aromas of nectarine, green apple, wet slate, honeysuckle florals and a hint of red berry. It is medium bodied with medium-plus acidity. It has a silky round mouthfeel, and is zesty, balanced, clean, and fun. There are flavors of green apple, lime zest, and chalky salinity along with a hint of white peach. The finish is refreshing and moderate in length. Serve chilled on a picnic with cold fried chicken. - Mark
