Wine Review: This clear and pale straw-colored Grenache Blanc from Gondak Cellars opens with an Anjou pear and lemon verbena bouquet with hints of sea breeze and almond. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, pleasantly round, and seamless. The flavor profile is an Anjou pear and mild honeysuckle blend with notes of saline and white peach. I also detected hints of Meyer lemon and a touch of nectarine. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely extended. I would pair this Grenache Blanc with coquilles St. Jacques. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Fresh, high-toned goodness. Lovely floral notes of honeysuckle, white peach, pear, and honey are delivered with fresh acidity. Pair this with good times, fish/shrimp tacos, chicken satay, pork shoulder, lobster, tempura shrimp, creamy cheeses, and or anything of the like. This wine is absolutely destined for enjoying a warm day with good company.
