Wine Review: This clear and dark red colored Pinot Noir from Domaine de la Riviere opens with a mild teaberry and cedar bouquet with hints of plum and Dr. Pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, concentrated, and fresh. The flavor profile is a red plum and red cherry blend with notes of black pepper and minerality. We also detected hints of cinnamon, green tea, and teaberry gum. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its fine-grained tannins are nicely extended. We would pair this Pinot with a soft Bavarian salted pretzel. Enjoy - KWGTP
