Wine Review: This clear and pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Amici opens with a white grapefruit and lemon verbena bouquet with hints of lime zest and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, creamy, slightly viscous, and pleasantly zesty. The flavor profile is a white grapefruit and stone fruit blend with notes of white pepper and chalky minerality. We also detected hints of lime, green tea, and just a touch of light oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a very long time. We would drink this refreshing Sauvignon Blanc on its own.
