Wine Review: This clear and pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Amici opens with a white grapefruit and lemon verbena bouquet with hints of lime zest and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, creamy, slightly viscous, and pleasantly zesty. The flavor profile is a white grapefruit and stone fruit blend with notes of white pepper and chalky minerality. We also detected hints of lime, green tea, and just a touch of light oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a very long time. We would drink this refreshing Sauvignon Blanc on its own. With food, we would suggest it with a scallop ceviche or with oysters on the half shell. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2025 Amici Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc opens with an elegant bouquet of white flowers, honeysuckle, Madagascar vanilla, and lemon confit. On the palate, it shows notes of crushed rock, mineral, and saline notes with a round, supple mouthfeel. Fresh citrus tones drive through the long, focused finish, where vibrant acidity and Rutherford minerality combine to create a Sauvignon Blanc of depth, precision, and poise.
