Wine Review: This clear and medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Lussier opens with a raspberry and pipe tobacco bouquet with hints of violets, flint stone, and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, smooth, and layered. The flavor profile is a complex blend of muddled fresh mint and kumquat blend with notes of pine resin, oolong tea, and lingonberry. We also detected hints of red plum and tobacco. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and fine sticky tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with veal medallions in a creamy mushroom sauce or with a grilled lamb burger. Enjoy - KWGTP
