Wine Review: This clear and very pale straw-colored Riesling opens with a lemon and lychee bouquet with hints of green tea and sea breeze. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright and fresh. The flavor profile is a lime and saline blend with notes of stone dust and lemon tea. I also detected hints of white pepper, white grapefruit, and white peach pit. The finish is off-dry and its flavors fade away nicely. I would pair this very good Riesling with fish tacos. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This wine showcases the elegant purity of truly great Riesling. Sourced from cool climate vineyards, Eroica shows exuberant freshness with inviting stone fruit, citrus, and floral notes. Drink now to experience the youthful charm or age this wine for added complexity. Pair with crab, scallops, sushi, Asian dishes, or Indian curries.

We highly recommend that you check out the six Virginia wineries in this post. We will start from the south near Charlottesville in the Monticello AVA and make our way north. Read This Blog Post
