Wine Review: This sleek and refreshing Riesling from the Mosel region in Germany is pale straw colored with a fragrant floral nose of white peach, apple blossom, jasmine, lime, and sea breeze. The palate is slightly off-dry, with a velvety mouthfeel, medium-plus body, medium acidity, good balance, and nice acidic tension There are flavors of white peach, lemon-lime, and integrated minerality with notes of honeydew melon and saline. The finish is tangy and long. Serve lightly chilled with Thai red curry chicken. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: A delightful off-dry Riesling that combines fresh fruit flavors with an optimal interplay of sweetness and acidity. This introductory wine displays the fine character of the Mosel-Ruwer region in the inimitable style of Maximin Grünhaus. It has a charming lightness that makes it hard to resist. Balanced and refreshing with fine, crisp acidity and aromas of fresh apples, Mirabelle and pear. Fruit for the Maximin Riesling is sourced from several vineyard parcels in the Ruwer and Mosel valleys that were recently acquired by the von Schubert family
