Wine Review: This orangish brown colored Verdelho Port from St. Amant opens with a golden raisin and honey bouquet with hints of molasses, marzipan, and caramel. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth and quite viscous. The flavor profile is a hazelnut and marzipan blend with notes of molasses and orange peel. We also detected hints of espresso and malt. On the finish, its flavors, acidity, and medium tannins are nicely extended. We would pair this Verdelho Port with tiramisu. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This Verdelho is the sweetest of the trio, with 9.2% residual sugar, giving it a luxurious viscosity and a decadent, dessert-like profile. It's rich and deeply concentrated, with a nutty, zesty finish that lingers for minutes. Truly a wine to savor. We won't have another 20-year Verdelho Port for at least a decade. This one is a treasure!
